Assess

• Discovery, at a high level, of the client’s current business and communications processes, and construction of a mutual understanding of how the client wants to improve these processes through an engagement with Master Key
• Analysis of audience, content, and definition of communications and functional goals for a web or interactive media project
• Documentation of product requirements that will meet client objectives, leading to design specifications, project plans, timelines, and delivery dates

Build

• Design of visual and functional prototypes, content architecture, and an iterative process of refinement, review, and validation
• Programming and development with stages of client review, starting with an alpha stage (basic functional and graphical prototype), moving into beta (initial client feedback incorporated into candidates for final delivery), and then gold stage, incorporating all elements of the final product, assets, functionality and capabilities for final review and acceptance.
• Testing and deployment, during which the client is able to validate that the product meets documented goals and MKI is able to certify the performance and reliability of the product in its final deployment environment.

Maintain

• Hosting (for web-based projects). MKI works with several best-of-breed hosting companies that assure reliable and highly available IT infrastructure for projects of all sizes. All of our hosting partners are capable of upgrading bandwidth, storage, and security requirements within 24 hours if these exceed the initial expectations of the site, and on numerous occasions, Master Key has worked quickly to meet increasing needs of our clients’ deployed web sites.
• Ongoing support and change management. In adhering to our company’s principles of providing services that are ethical, add value, and are holistic in approach, Master Key encourages our clients to expand the scope of their projects using well-considered change management, so that the original goals for a project are always kept in mind and not diminished by unmanaged growth.
